Wheel rim repair and straightening in Wrocław
Hitting a pothole or kerb can bend your wheel rim. Common signs include steering wheel vibrations or a tyre that keeps losing pressure. At D&G Tyre Service, located at 7 Dmowskiego Street in Wrocław, we straighten and repair steel and alloy wheels whenever the type and extent of the damage allow it.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Steel and alloy wheel straightening
A bent wheel rim can make proper wheel balancing difficult and cause air leaks between the tyre and rim. Before starting the repair, we remove the tyre and inspect where and how severely the rim is deformed.
After straightening, we refit the tyre, check for leaks and balance the wheel. If the tyre is also damaged, we'll assess whether it can be safely repaired.

When a wheel rim cannot be repaired
Not all wheel rim damage can be safely repaired. Cracks, missing material and severe deformation, especially in alloy wheels, may mean the rim needs to be replaced. We make this decision after inspecting the wheel.
If your rim cannot be repaired, we'll help you find a replacement. We offer steel and alloy wheels in our Wheel Sales section and can fit and balance your new wheel at our workshop.
FAQ
Wheel rim repair: frequently asked questions
Book a wheel rim inspection at D&G Tyre Service, 7 Romana Dmowskiego Street, Wrocław.
Does vibration while driving mean my wheel rim is bent?
A damaged rim is one possible cause. Vibrations can also be related to wheel balancing, tyre condition or other vehicle components. We'll inspect your wheels and explain what needs to be repaired.
Can a bent wheel rim cause air loss?
Yes. A deformed rim edge can prevent the tyre from sealing properly, causing air to escape slowly. After repairing the rim, we check the wheel for leaks.
How much does wheel straightening cost?
The price depends on the type of rim and the extent of the damage. You can find estimated prices in our price list. We'll confirm the exact cost after inspecting the rim, before starting any work.
